Killer Mango SalsaMy
favorite films or television programs are those that depict strong female characters
that are a little bit sweet, and a little bit spicy, women that dont need
to be saved by anyone but themselves. This salsa is a little sweet from the mango,
with a surprising 'after' heat from the jalapenos. - Nina Knapp, editor Ingredients: 2
Mangoes - peeled and chopped in small chunks 1 medium to large avocado
chopped in small chunks 1 ½ tbsp. cilantro 1 sm. can (4 oz.) chopped
green chile 1 cup chopped tomato 1 cup chopped green onions 2 tbsp. lime
juice 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 pinch of salt Optional ingredients: 1
tbsp. tequila ½ - 1 tbsp. chopped jalapeno (according to taste) Instructions: Simply
mix all ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl. Refrigerate
one hour before serving. Note:
This salsa is wonderful with chips, or as an accent for fish such as tilapia.
